This Tree Study is the perfect way to teach so many skills such as agriculture, nature, math, counting, seasons, literacy and more in a multi sensory, dramatic play approach. These also work for small group or center work and hands on learning using mini trees found at places such as Michaels.  The first year I taught the study, I created a companion unit and later added math and literacy centers for my interest areas and small group. The first pack includes a anchor chart for each study question and questions of the day. It also includes printable fine motor and pattern activities.

In this tree study learning, these printer friendly centers include; counting, more than, less than, number recognition, and measurement and patterns. The third pack contains literacy centers for the study.

These centers include great practice for recognizing and matching capital and lower- case letters, beginning sounds, and rhyming words. These brightly colored centers are engaging and differentiated for your students.
