I’m a veteran teacher with 33 years experience teaching in the early education classroom.

I know what it’s like to start a new grade or new curriculum and not know where to start !

My name is Jeanne and I have been in education for thirty five years ! I am excited to share ideas and my experiences from my years of teaching in many different grades. The University of Dayton is where I studied for my bachelors degree in elementary education. After graduating, I taught second grade for twenty years. I loved second grade for so many reasons and it is probably my favorite to teach. Next, I taught fifth grade for two years. It was a fun and eventful two years and I was blessed to teach some of my previous second graders again. Although I enjoyed it , my passion was to teach children how to read and help those struggling to learn. I returned to elementary school, this time in first grade. After teaching first grade for ten years, I took a leap of faith and left my school after thirty one years for a new adventure. I am currently working as an online interventionist with Tutored by Teachers and an adjunct professor at a local college in the Elementary Education department. I am loving both teaching and training new teachers.
